Sleepover in our historic building in the heart of downtown Nassau

Hillside's loft is nestled in our secluded courtyard space. This 200+ year old building was the annex of the main house that once sat on the front of this property. This annex served as the kitchen for the main house and still has the original 1800s fireplace where food was prepared. The annex has been restored and repurposed as an art gallery and community space by Bahamian master artist Antonius Roberts. The loft served as Roberts’ studio space and he has left his mark throughout the space with paint splattered concrete floors from his creations over the years.

The loft is a serene and peaceful hidden gem only a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau. The centuries old exposed limestone walls, Roberts' personal library and the walls adorned with original Bahamian art add to the studio’s charming character.
